Interested in exploring digital illustration for womenswear? This session will introduce the basic functions and tools of the Procreate drawing app relevant to fashion illustration. You will draw an outfit using a straight pose figure and try basic colouring/rendering.

What's Included:

  • Digital Croquis (figure templates) in Jpeg format: Straight Pose with arm variations, Standing Poses, Runway Poses. These can be used for your own practice after class (please do not distribute without permission).
  • Brush Set and Colour Palette used in demonstration. These can be imported in Procreate and include light skin tone.

ABOUT YI LIN:

Cheng Yi Lin graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles. She worked as an Assistant Designer in New York City for 2 years. Subsequently, she has done freelance commissions in textile design and illustration, as well as live illustration at events. Her clients include The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Chaumet, Parfums Christian Dior etc.
