Welcome to the New Fashion Playground — where your old fits get a second life and your creativity actually gets to run the show.

What You Will Learn

Session 1.0: Decorative
Learn how to use various tools and accessorise and customise your pieces like you actually meant to do that.

  • Studs
  • Eyelets
  • Buttons
  • Lace

Session 2.0: Illusion
We're altering. We're tailoring. Oversized jeans? Baggy tops? Long sleeves? We're making them fit your curves better.

  • Tapering the waist on tops
  • Adding a button sleeve finish
  • Cinching the waist with elastic on jeans
  • Shortening your jeans/ pants hem

Additional Time
If you can't finish on time don't worry! Additional time can be arranged with us at $20/hr if you need more time with the sewing machine, tools and materials on your own.

Important note

  • You're required to bring clothes you want to decorate and alter on the first day of the class. We recommend bringing:
    - 5 tops and/or T-shirts
    - 3 jeans, and/or pants
    - 1 cap or fabric bag
  • Sewing machine and tools are included.
  • This class does not cover how to operate sewing machines. You may register our Starter Bundle class to learn how to operate them.
