Your style, your cheongsam. Why settle for off-the-rack? Customize your very own Cheongsam top by choosing your preferred sleeve and length. Whether you’re going for a modern crop or a classic fit, come learn from the start with us!

Variations include:

  • Sleeve Style: Sleeves, Sleeveless 

What You Will Learn

  • Construct Mandarin stand collar
  • Attaching a placket for neat finishing
  • Concealed snap button installation
  • Finishing a garment with or without sleeves
  • How to utilize the sewing and overlock machines
  • Efficient Fabric cutting

Important note

  • This class is suitable for beginners with little or no experience.
  • Body measurements will be taken by the trainer on your first lesson and has to be submitted at least 7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR SECOND SESSION for draft preparation, otherwise your second session will have to be postponed.
  • Please wear slim fitted clothing for accurate measurement taking. Avoid sports bras or compressive garments.
  • Sewing machines and tools are provided during class. You're not required to bring anything for the first session.
  • Fabrics and zippers are not included. Please bring them for your second session.
  • For ages 18 & above.

Things to Bring for Your Second Session

  • 1.5 metres of Non-Stretch Cotton (Main Fabric)
  • 0.5 metres of Non-Stretch Cotton (Contrast Fabric)
  • 2 pieces of Chinese Frog Buttons
  • 5 Metal Snap Buttons (12 - 13mm diameter)
  • 4 Plastic Snap Buttons (12 - 13mm diameter)

You can get the buttons from Lye Nai Shiong.

Other Important Information

Classes start on time, please arrive 5 minutes earlier if possible.
